The Challenge
Understanding the challenges that needed to be addressed
McDonald's shift managers are required to complete travel path inspections every 30 minutes across six critical areas (Dining Area, Toilets & Crew Room, Back Operations, Backroom, Kitchen, Front Counter/Drive-Thru/BDAP), but consistently forget these quality control tasks.
Without proper verification, stores cannot ensure McDonald's quality standards and HACCP compliance are maintained, risking food safety and customer experience issues.
Store management lacks visibility into inspection completion, recurring operational issues, and individual shift manager performance, making it difficult to maintain consistent McDonald's standards across different shifts.

The Solution
How I approached and solved these challenges
Built a McDonald's-specific dual-platform solution with a React Native mobile app for shift managers and a Vue.js web dashboard for store management.
Implemented QR code verification for all six McDonald's operational areas with intelligent 30-minute push notifications to ensure travel paths are completed on schedule.
Created a comprehensive admin panel specifically designed for McDonald's operations, featuring performance analytics, HACCP compliance tracking, and actionable insights to maintain consistent quality standards across all shifts.
